From the Founder
I spent close to two decades inside global mobility before I ever thought about building a platform for it.
My work with organisations including DNV, Hydro, Telenor and Yara gave me a close, firsthand view of what international assignments actually demand — from the compliance detail to the human side of relocating someone's life across a border. In 2008, working within Norsk Hydro's International Assignment Services team in Oslo, I saw directly how much of that work still ran on manual process, scattered tools, and individual judgement rather than a system built for it.
SWAIRI exists because of that gap. Every part of the platform is built from what I saw was actually missing — not assumptions, but two decades of direct experience with how global mobility really works, and how much better it can be with the right platform behind it.
